runningsports Advocates are special people. Like you, they are driven to support and develop volunteers in their specific areas, working hard to advance sport at grass-roots level. They use us as a tool to help the volunteers they work with, and you can do the same.

What is runningsports?

Created and funded by Sport England, we support sports volunteers and the people who manage them. Whatever sport they're involved in, whichever level they work at, we have a huge number of resources that can help them save time, access funding and attract more members. How can we work together?

Becoming a runningsports Advocate makes your work with sports volunteers much easier.

When you do a demanding, fast-paced job like yours, you really need practical, simple ways of supporting volunteers.

One of the best ways you can support sports volunteers at sports clubs, teams or events is by asking them to become runningsports Network Members. When volunteers become runningsports Network Members they are able to access all the support and information they need to make their lives simpler.

What's more, joining is FREE. So, by simply telling the volunteers you communicate with about runningsports we'll both achieve our objectives: to support volunteers in the excellent work they do.

Of course, we'll help you too! As a runningsports Advocate you'll have access to our state-of-the-art Intranet where you'll find:

• useful tools and advice from our marketing experts helping you raise awareness of runningsports among clubs
• runningsports resources helping sports volunteering organisations save time, access funding and attract more members
• an interactive forum to share ideas on how to help clubs make the most of runningsports

We make telling people about us easy

When you register you'll receive a runningsports information pack that includes:

• Network Member flyers you can give out at meetings and use as inserts in your communications
• articles you can use in your newsletters and magazines
